CHINA MUSIC GROUP IS FORMED AS A DIVISION OF CHINA MEDIA VENTURES

CEO Frank Mayor has announced the formation of CHINA MUSIC GROUP (CMG) as a division of CHINA MEDIA VENTURES. The newly formed company will combine the operations of CRC JIANIAN INC., a joint venture with China Records Corporation (CRC), and CHINA MUSIC PUBLISHING, a company co-owned with the Music Copyright Society of China (MCSC). CMG will collect publishing royalties worldwide outside of China for CRC and in North and South America for MCSC, as well as license CRC’s extensive library of master recordings.
